Everyday in my work I see people.
Happy people, sad people, angry people, lazy people, successful people, cool people, sucky people…so many people.
And some of them I see more than others. And who are those people? Complainers.
If you’ve met one complainer, you’ve met them all.
They all have one thing in common: nothing, and I mean nothing makes them happy.
They are in a perpetual state of misery.
Like a song on repeat. It’s the same song and dance day after day.
I may see a flitter of a smile every once in a while, but it’s fleeting.
I get it, we all have bad days.
I’ve been having a number of bad ones this week, so I get it.
But are your bad days outnumbering your good days?
What kind of lasting impression are you leaving on people?
And what kind of an impression do you want to leave on people?
And if the impression you are leaving is not what you want, what are you doing to change that?
