Makeup Dreams

I’ve always been a bit of a daydreamer.

Sometimes Dustin will talk to me, and I’ll completely miss what he’s saying because I’m so engulfed in my own thoughts.

It drives him crazy, and it makes me laugh. ┬áčÖé

Maybe it’s my own kind of super power, blocking out extraneous input & noise, to focus in on what’s important to me.

It’s a blessing and a curse, depending on the day.

I’ve never stopped dreaming, and I don’t think we ever should.

I read an article recently, that basically praised being ordinary.

I understood the basic premise, but it didn’t resonate with me.

With social media, I know we can be bombarded with this perceived perfection in others, that is not reality, so I get it.

But I don’t think we should ever settle.

We should always be striving to be better humans, wives, parents, friends.

Because┬ádidn’t someone say, ‘If we’re not growing, we’re dying’?

Anyhow, I went to Arizona recently for a Limelight training event.

I went to grow, to learn, and to network.  To meet other women who are following their passion, and who desire a better life for themselves and family.

It was wonderful.
